I’ve been building websites for a long time now. I always play around with website design and content to try to improve the number of visitors that I receive. What I discovered early on was that content was one of the best ways for me to attract visitors– lots of good content. But what I also discovered is that while I can drive a couple hundred visitors to a site every day with good content, I couldn’t turn the corner and get 1,000s of visitors to a website everyday.


This was because of two primary reasons: First, I wasn’t using marketing techniques to help me get thousands of visitors. Second, I wasn’t using a Social Media consultant to create a community on Facebook and Twitter for my website.

Step 1: Online Advertising! I used sites like Google to run ad-campaigns to attract visitors to my websites. Step 2: Commit to an advertising strategy and budget that will get you real results. If you’re not willing to spend a little bit of money everyday on advertising, then these strategies aren’t going to work for you.

Your best bet will be to speak with a Social Media Consultant about designing a social media campaign around these new sites. They can also help you set them up and do all the work for you to guarantee a community of online followers.

Step 4: Take maximum advantage of your new web traffic and social media community! When I did start getting thousands of visitors every day, I quickly discovered that I wasn’t keeping all of them as customers. I needed to do more to improve my conversion rate for visitors. And although I had spent a lot of time designing a good website, it wasn’t until I had thousands of visitors, that I was able to determine the types of design changes necessary to get more of them to buy my products.
