Can You Hear Me Now: Verizon to Refund 15 Million Customers

October 4, 2010 | Insider News

CNN.com is reporting today that Verizon Wireless will refund sone 15 million customers for overcharges. Deputy legal counsel for the wireless provider announced that Verizon customers who did not have data plans were charged for calls that were never initiated. Presumably this would be for a call that was attempted but never connected.

While official numbers haven’t yet been released, Verizon is reporting that on average, the 15 million customers will receive between $2 and $6 dollars in refunds. That equates to $60 million dollars in refunds.

What do you need to do to get your refund? Verizon will be refunding you automatically, either through a credit in your October/November bill or through a direct check sent to your listed address.
